Lucid is actively engaging in renewable energy generation from sources previously unexplored, but we haven't forgotten about the ones that have already proven useful. Wind power is a great source of energy, and completely renewable. The GHT's helical shape has proven to have remarkable efficiency in the capture of wind energy.  The ability to capture this energy from currents moving in virtually any direction without the necessity to "aim" the GHT as well as virtually silent operation mean the GHT has profound application for harnessing wind power.  We hope to have our wind turbines ready for widespread deployment in 2008.
