GREEN ENERGY TECHNOLOGY GROWS IN GOSHEN, INDIANA
Goshen, Indiana
Lucid Energy Technologies, LLC announced the production launch of a cutting-edge, hydrokinetic turbine, which will be used for renewable energy production worldwide. Lucid will manufacture the Gorlov Helical Turbine (GHT) under contract with local aluminum extrusion manufacturer, the MILL.
Josh Thomas, Director of Lucid's Business Development, explains the concept behind the GHT, "This is a unique technology which captures energy from moving water without dams. The turbines are manufactured from extruded aluminum components which means they will be lightweight, inexpensive to ship, and recyclable."
Indiana has been part of the growing movement towards developing renewable energy sources, primarily in the manufacture of bio-diesel fuels. The MILL and Lucid Energy Technologies' partnership as manufacturer and developer of an entirely new means of energy production propels the state forward in progressive technology.
